Mental Health vs Physical Health,Which is More Important...???
There is a lot of debate over which is more important - physical or mental health. Some people believe that physical health is more important, while others believe that mental health is more important.
There are a few reasons why people might believe that mental health is more important. Mental health can be affected by things like stress, anxiety, and depression, which can lead to problems like poor physical health. Also, mental health issues can be difficult to treat, and can often require medication or therapy.
On the other hand, physical health can be affected by things like obesity, lack of exercise, and heart disease. Physical health also affects how well we function physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Physical Health is more important than mental health, according to most experts. However, this does not mean that mental health is not important. Mental health is important because it helps people manage their emotions and cope with problems.
People often think of physical and mental health as being two separate things. However, experts say that both are important and need to be taken into account when treating a person.
Physical Health is important because it helps people stay alive. Mental health is important because it helps people manage their emotions and cope with problems. There are many ways in which physical and mental health can be affected.
Physical Health can be affected by things like injuries, illnesses, and diseases. Mental health can be affected by things like stress, anxiety, and depression.
However, experts say that physical and mental health are not entirely separate. They both play a role in a person's overall health.
Ultimately, it is up to each person to decide which is more important to them. Everyone's health is different, so it is important to listen to what makes you feel good and to do what you can to improve your physical and mental health.
I think that Mental Health is as important as Physical Health. If you don’t look after your mental health you could become suicidal, if you are depressed. You may kill yourself and there would be suddenly a painful gap among your loved ones.
From what I have seen in news and as part of society there is a general lack of understanding of the importance of Emotional Health in the country. But this appears to also be the case in many countries around the world, particularly the countries that hold on to traditional values.
Peoples are covering up their emotional status for fear of being shamed. A person with emotional problems needs to have the courage to open up and admit that there is a problem, then seek counseling to work these problems out.
Mental Health is very much important. Our physical body is like a computer hardware which is of no use if there is no software. we need the software to function the hardware & give results…. Same is like our mental health, unless we are not mentally healthy we can’t use our physical body to perform daily tasks. Mental Health & physical Health are interconnected to lead a successful Life.
Best Example is, A mother can only bear the physical pain during delivery as she’s mentally prepared & eager for the outcome in the form of BABY. Because, She is mentally fit so she can bear the pain happily.
Which Organ is More Important in Human Body...???
Would you say lung health is more important than kidney health? Every organ of the body is important for survival. You can survive for years even if one of the chambers of your heart isn't pumping properly and you can survive for years if you are depressed, but in either case, you won't be able to do as much as if those organs were functional better.
Mental Health Problems can change the way you think and the decisions you make. They can put you at greater risk for suicide. Blood clots from surgery or injury can end up in your heart or lungs or brain and cause a heart attack or a stroke which can disable you or Kik you.
Would you ever give up on any of your organs when you need them all to survive? You also need them to function well if you want to avoid a poorer quality of life.
General Perspective of Doctors...
One of the problem which doctors have is that they often focus on the part of the body they specialize in, instead of looking at the overall health considerations and trade-offs.
For example, a psychiatrist will focus so much on mental health that they will provide medications that hugely increase a patient's risk for diabetes and high blood pressure and heart problems. many psychiatric medications cause people to gain enormous amount of weight. such weight can also give a person one more reason for poor self esteem.
But the voices are gone. The patient can't eat what they want and they can't walk far and they have a much shortened life expectancy, but their mind is no longer bothered by voices no one else can hear.
These are tough situations and a patient can end up with their heart and psychiatric specialists working for opposite ends. Unless you treat the body and mind as one whole entity, you end up with a piecemeal approach that can kill you.
Mental Health is as important as Physical Health, Physical Health is as important as Emotional Health. these all are interconnected with each others.
Humans are whole beings, not pieces and parts. but the system of medical specialization reinforces prejudices that you can focus on a part without worrying about the other parts, too.
If a doctor, who let's patient forget that he/she is a whole human being is taking a huge rush. Unfortunately, it's the patient's job to keep this in mind because doctors get too focused on parts, for the most cases.
Yes it's important, most of the deaths right now is coming from anxiety and depression. And it's all about Mental Health.
When pandemic strike, it increases the numbers of patient with anxiety and depression. It's not because of be over dramatic but it is because of Mental Health.
Mental Health affects your mood, your physical wellbeing. You may not be see it but it can change a person. I see a lot of persons who go to depression and hurt themselves. I hope from here, we will prioritize our mental health too.
Mental Health is in the brain, and the brain is a part of the body, so mental health is part of physical health, but I do understand that many people make this distinction, so I will answer on those terms.
Mental Health and Physical Health have a profound impact on each other. Poor mental health can cause many physical problems For Example, sleep issues, physical pain, obesity, low blood pressure, high blood pressure, or fainting, etc.
in other hand, Poor physical health can likewise cause mental illnesses like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and phobias, etc.
No matter what your sickness is, you will not be well unless you address both your Physical and Mental Health equally.
In the end, nothing is more important than your health. I know that everyone has some dream or the other and it is true. But while fulfilling the dream we forget about health and that is not good. after all our body is the only place we live in. So keep going smart. Both physical and mental health are equally important. our first priority must be health and then family.
But as per my experiences, we always give priority to FAMILY OVER OUR HEALTH.
